We had real live people over on Saturday. Well, not like we have real dead people over the rest of the time, or anything, but it's the first time we've had anyone in the place not directly related to us that wasn't there to do to maintenance.
We've lived here just over a year now.
They were all uni people: Little Jeff, his new girlfriend, and Designer Bobbie who got a BA in interior design and decided to get a Masters in theatre- she'll graduate the same year as The Boy. We asked Mr. Bobbie and Costumer Rebel, but they were both busy (Mr. Bobbie's in the National Guard).
This whole cultivating a social life thing is interesting. It's nice to see people that aren't The Boy or total strangers- I don't get out much. Had dinner and then rounds of "Battle of the Sexes", and "Dirty Minds", then a three hour game of 90's Trivial Pursuit. Little Jeff, who brought it, said he'd never ever played a game that long, an hour was tops. Apparently, we are 90's trivia losers.
Right now plans are in the works to go camping next weekend, but I'm not certain how that'll work out. The place with free camping is almost an hour in the opposite direction from the Apple Festival, and I kinda wanted to go to the vintage baseball game, if nothing else.
