Stephen Colbert and Michael Brown. Ahhh, Comedy Central, how I love thee. Those who know suggest that the vast majority of college students who watch anything masquarading as news are probably watching Comedy Central news. I'm not certain how I feel about that all in all, because, man, if they're the ones we're watching, we are missing a lot of things about news. On the other hand, it's better than watching FOX news masquarade as news.

This particular interview was interesting because they didn't actually say anything. There was no real explanation of his experiences as the director, what it was like in the middle of the problems. I don't pay enough attention to know whether Stephen is easier on people the higher up they are, but I'm beginning to think it's something to pay attention to. On the same account, maybe they know in advance where they can and can't go, which, ehhh, to an extent it makes sense.

It's hard to watch television and type, so eat a BLT and watch out for bears.

Has anyone else noticed I'm writing more often? We've hit that part of the year the Prof Jay calls the Spiral of Guilt. This is what happens when you miss a class, for whatever reason, but usually no reason. Then you go back to class, discover the homework was due the day you missed, or the quiz was that day, or they started the new material that is vitally important to the rest of the term. So, with added stuff to make up, you feel worse about being in class without knowing what's going on, and your attendance lags again.

Reaching this point leaves me harried, which makes me avoid the stuff I'm supposed to get done, therefore, more updating. Quite mathematical.
